Setting PDF Page Size from your DOCX/ODT Template
In Microsoft Word or LibreOffice, you can set the page size for your template, and when generate a PDF with Carbone, the PDF will inherit the page size from the document.
Here's how you can define the page size in Microsoft Word and LibreOffice.
Open your Word template: If you haven't created your document yet, open a new Word document.
Go to the "Layout" or "Page Layout" tab: In the ribbon at the top of Word, look for the "Layout" or "Page Layout" tab. The exact name may vary depending on your version of Word.
Set the page size: In the "Size" group (or a similar group), you'll find options to set the page size. Click on the "Size" option to open a dropdown menu.
Choose a predefined size or set a custom size: You can choose a standard page size (like Letter, A4, Legal, etc.) from the list.
If you need a custom size, select "More Paper Sizes" or "Custom Size" from the dropdown menu. Enter the width and height for your custom page size. Confirm your changes: Click "OK" or "Apply" to confirm the changes to the page size.
Check your document layout: Review your document to ensure that the layout is as you desire with the new page size.
